Final Salute

He was a proud Vietnam veteran, serving two tours with the U.S. Navy Seabees – NMCB 128. After his military service, he retired from Louisiana State University as a Planner/Estimator for several crafts in Facility Services.

Barry was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Babin Lambert; his mother, Verla Gautreau Lambert; his father, William T. Lambert Sr.; grandsons, Ashton Lambert and Nickolas Ladner and great granddaughter, Nora Villar.

He is survived by his children: Duane & Vickie Lambert, Kirk & Mary Lambert, Ty & Tammy Lambert, Danny Welsh and Teri Ladner; brother and sister-in-law, William Jr. & Mary Lambert; sisters, Ramona Jacob and Jane Briscoe; eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren (one on the way).

Visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Rosary Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any Children’s Hospital or any Cancer organization
