Jeffrey Adam Pencek, 76, of Jupiter, FL passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025 at Ardie R. Copas State Veterans Nursing Home. He left behind his wife of 30 years, Diane Daly Pencek and their beloved dog, Cooper.
Born December 9, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Virginia (Brodoski) Pencek and grew up in Scranton, PA, graduating from Scranton Technical High School. Jeffrey was a Navy Seabee veteran and served during the Vietnam war. Following his Naval service, he earned his Architectural degree at Penn State University and went on to enjoy many years working as an Architect and Principal with Highland Associates in New York, NY.
Jeff lived a life marked by quiet strength, steady character, and deep love for those around him. A man of few words but great presence, he found pleasure in time spent fishing or enjoying a round of golf.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children: Heather and Jeff Stage, Jenise and Derrick Packer and Jarrad and Cassie Pencek; six grandsons: Brett, Lucas and Blake Stage, Jovi and Cruz Pencek and Julian Packer; his sisters: Gayle and Fred Joseph and Wendy and Rick Braz as well as extended family.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 12:00 noon in Duffy & Snowdon Funeral Home, 401 Church Street, Moscow, PA.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Dickson City, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jeff’s memory to the Liberty Wing of Ardie Copas Veterans State Nursing Home, 13000 SW Tradition Pkwy, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
