Final Salute

Jeff Wolfe, age 65 of Long Beach, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Lee Piatt; and his mother, Violet Stathers.

Jeff is survived by his son, Jeremy Wolfe (Lacy); his siblings, Bobby Stathers (Cindy), Lori Ratica (John), Jennifer Ebert (Chris), and Johnny Stathers; his grandchildren, Lorelai Wolfe and Jace Wolfe; and his special friend and caregiver, Delores Teddleton.

Jeff was born in Marianna, PA, and served as a Seabee in the United States Navy for 4 years. After leaving the Navy, he began working construction which led to his 38 year civil service career at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport. He received numerous Special Act of Service awards throughout his tenure with the federal government.

Jeff was an avid golfer, and enjoyed trapping and fishing. He especially loved spending time with family and friends.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Gulfport Memorial Hospital and Canon Hospice for the care provided to Jeff. Deepest thanks and warmest regards are given to Dr. Bassaum Baroudi at Coast Heart Institute and to Dr. Allison Wall and her staff at Medical Oncology.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, with a visitation for friends one hour prior to the service.
