Jamie Byron Richards, Sr., passed away at his residence in Bethlehem, PA, on March 10, 2026, at the age of 56. He was born on May 7, 1969, in Bethlehem to the late Vincent Elsworth Richards, Sr. and Jean Ann (Talbot) Richards.

Jamie’s early years were spent in the nurturing embrace of Bethlehem, where he attended Liberty High School. His formative years were marked by a strong sense of purpose and dedication, traits that would define him throughout his life. After high school, Jamie honorably served his country in the Navy for a decade and was as a member of the Seabees, the construction battalions renowned for their can-do attitude and skill in building and fighting for freedom.

Upon returning to civilian life, Jamie channeled his expertise into a successful career as a Dry Wall Contractor in the construction industry. His work not only showcased his meticulous craftsmanship but also his ability to lead and inspire those around him. Jamie’s professional life was a testament to his belief in hard work, integrity, and the importance of building something lasting, whether it was a home or a relationship. Jamie was also a passionate carpenter.

Survivors: Jamie’s legacy is lovingly carried on by his devoted children: Kaylee Ruiz and her husband Dennis of Germansville and Jamie Byron Richards Jr. and his significant other Stefanie Kehm of Greentown. His life was further enriched by the joy of his grandchildren: Danica, Nicholas, Gabrielle, D.J., and Sterling, who will miss their grandfather’s playful spirit and boundless affection. He is also survived by his siblings: Vincent Elsworth Richards, Jr., Leslie Cochran, and Erica Link, all of Bethlehem, his niece Samantha, and nephews William and Steven. In addition to his parents, Jamie was predeceased by his sister, Catherine Mertz, whose memories remain a cherished part of his family’s heritage.

Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. at the family’s home. Jamie’s services have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
