Hugh Joseph Tuttle, beloved husband, Dad, Papa, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Windcrest, Tx on Wednesday May 14, at the age of 84.
Hugh was born on August 7, 1940, in San Antonio, Tx to Theresa K and Burt Joseph Tuttle, Preceded in death by his brother Frank E Tuttle.
In 1964 Hugh married the love of his life Diana J Tuttle. Their love and devotion built a life of cherished memories. He was a proud and loving dad to Dania S Powers (married to Tommy Powers) and John J Tuttle (married to Kristie K Tuttle). His greatest joy was his grandchildren: Johnathon A Powers (married to Mikayla) and their sons Kinsler and Colby; Ashley D Hepburn (married to Stephen) and their daughter, Saraley; Evin J Tuttle; and Kennedy K Tuttle. He cherished every moment with them and took immense pride in their lives.
Hugh served in the United States Navy as a Seabee construction plumber from 1960-1962 and was chosen to work on the Nevada Nuclear test sight. Upon leaving the Navy, Hugh worked for A.J. Monier Plumbing from 1962-1981 at which time he and his wife founded Tuttle plumbing.
After retiring 1n 1999, Hugh and Diana spent much of their time traveling the United States in their motor home and digging for gold. Hugh loved people and would do anything for them. He was strong, hardworking, compassionate and always had a witty remark, followed by his signature laugh. He poured his love into everything he did, especially when it came to his family.
