Final Salute

MILLERSBURG – Howard “Ritch” Snyder was taken into the arms of our Lord, Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021.

Ritch was born in Sunbury, June 23, 1950, a son of the late Marlin Snyder, and loving mother Aulwyn Reader, who survives.

Ritch was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy and a proud Seabee.

After his service to his country, Ritch continued to work within the civil service.

Ritch leaves behind his mother, Aulwyn Reader, of Sunbury; a son, Michael, and a daughter, Christy, both of Mifflinburg; his former wife, Carol Manley, of Wisconsin; four brothers, Keith, of York Haven, Craig, of Millersburg, Roger, of Northumberland, and Donald, of Danville; four sisters, Patty, of Ashland, Tina and Gena, both of Dornsife, and Roxane, of Sunbury; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; his brothers, Larry, Barry and Jesse; and a sister, Nancy.

Ritch will be greatly missed by all who were a part of his life.

Arrangements were by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, in Sunbury.
