Final Salute

Harold W. Geiser, 98, of Germania, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 3, 2023. Born September 27, 1925, in Germania, he was a son of the late Philip and Clara (Hartman) Geiser.
He was married to his loving wife Irma Carol (Heuser) Geiser for 71 years. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2023.
Harold was a World War II veteran having served in the Navy Seabees. He then worked as a PennDot foreman, was a West Branch Township supervisor for many years, and was the former owner, along with his wife, Irma, of the Forest View Tree Farm in Germania until he retired.
Harold was a kind, honest and generous man who loved the Lord and his family. He had a good sense of humor and always felt blessed.
Surviving are two sons, Lynn (Marie) Geiser, Coudersport and Lowell (Virginia) Geiser, Germania; a daughter, Michelle (Steve) Piaquadio, Germania; six grandchildren, Talia (Bill) Robertson, Valerie Geiser, Carolyn (Adam) Rohrer, Lauren Geiser, Braden (Kaiti) Piaquadio and Nathan (Elizabeth) Geiser; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Alice) Geiser, Galeton; two sisters, Jeanette Johnson and Janet (Kay) Greeley, both of Wellsboro; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, Harold was predeceased by four brothers, Louis, Leo, Joseph and Wallace Geiser and a sister, Teresa Froebel.
A private graveside Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2024.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Germania Cemetery Association, 187 Gross Rd., Galeton, PA 16922.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton.
