Mr. Gerald Hardenbrook “Jerry”

Gerald Hardenbrook, affectionately known as Jerry, was born on November 21, 1937, and passed away on November 12, 2025.

Jerry had a commendable career at Delta Airlines in sales, where he had the unique opportunity to meet many people, including some famous personalities, like the Monkees.

He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, working as a SEABEE and doing construction. This experience shaped his character and instilled a sense of discipline and dedication that he carried throughout his life.

Jerry had a passion for sports, particularly for The Ohio Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. He found joy in simple pleasures, such as enjoying Marion’s pizza alongside a Bud Light.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Ken) Stoner; and two grandchildren, Samantha (Jake) Lockhart and Levi Etienne. Jerry also delighted in the company of his great-grandchildren: Kylee, Lucas, Liam, Wyatt, and Makayla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Teckla Hardenbrook; his granddaughter, Maranda Church; and his sister, Jane Wilson.

Jerry will be remembered by his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
