Final Salute

George Witzel, born on April 18, 1931, passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 92. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary of 69 years as well as his brother Jack, 6 children John Witzel, Tom (LeAnne) Witzel, Sue(Kurt) Klemm, Beth(Randy) Browning, Steve(Marcy) Witzel and Joe(Keelie) Witzel, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren along with brother-in-laws Ray Wagner and Bob Leffler.

George proudly served his country in the Navy Seabees and was a devout Catholic. He enjoyed fishing, lifelong learning, showering his furry friends with treats, and teaching his grandchildren his considerable woodworking and electrical skills.

He is deeply missed by all those whom he touched throughout his meaningful life.

Services will be held at St. Anthony’s on the Lake, Pewaukee, WI on Friday, January 5th 2024 at noon.
