Date of birth 12/14/1957
Date of passing 10/07/2025

Gary D. Walczak passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving sisters, Joy Porter (William) and Lori. Gary is also survived by his nephew and godchild, Eugene Walczak, also his niece and godchild, Katelyn Lockhart. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

He was the beloved son of the late Eugene N. Walczak Sr and the late Loretta T. Walczak as well as his late brother Eugene N. Walczak Jr.

Gary was born and raised in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia. He attended All Saints Catholic School and was a graduate of North Catholic High School. He enlisted in the Navy and was part of the CB unit (Seabees) serving in the Reserves for 6 years. He worked for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 32 years of service.

He enjoyed golfing in his past time traveling to many courses with his BGA friends and his friends from the Point no Point. A life well-lived.

He also enjoyed sitting at Ozzie’s Corner just commiserating with his buddies.

He will be remembered and missed by many as he left his imprint wherever he was. He was a quiet soul with a generous spirit.

He fought his battle with cancer with strength and dignity and was more worried about his family at times than himself.

Rest easy our dear brother and friend. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
