Mohr, Frank Michael Sr.
78, of Tampa, Florida passed away at home surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Frank was born on October 27, 1947 in Green Bay, WI to Francis and Doris Mohr. After graduating from West High School, he attended the University of Wisconsin Platteville where he earned his Civil Engineering degree. Frank was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving as a Navy Seabee. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida after the war to begin his lifelong career as a civil engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers. It was there that he met his wife of 42 years. They moved to Tampa in 1978 where he worked as the Area Engineer until his retirement in 2010.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Doris Mohr of Green Bay, WI, and his brother, Lynn Mohr, of California. He is survived by his wife, Teressa Gail Mohr; daughter, Nicki (Jason) Hall; son, Frank Mohr Jr.; and grandchildren, Wyatt and Nora Hall.
A memorial service will be held at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 W. Platt Street, on December 1, 2025 at 1 pm with a reception immediately following.
