Final Salute

Francis T. Cordeiro, Jr., 79, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Francis T. and Laura (Gomes) Cordeiro. He was a lifetime resident of Seekonk. Frank was a heavy equipment operator for the Rosciti Construction Company before retiring and was a member of IUOE Local 57. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was the recipient of two Bronze Stars. He also was a member of the Navy Seabees. Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a lifetime member of the Rumford Hunting & Fishing Club. He was a member of the N.R.A. and also served as an instructor. The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at O’Hara Senior Care for the excellent care and attention that they provided to Frank.

He leaves one son, David F. Cordeiro and his wife Diana, one grandson, Alexander Cordeiro and one sister, Emily Jobin.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. A celebration of life will be held at 12:30 PM at Davenports Restaurant, 1925 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. www.perrymcstay.com
