Enrique Acosta Dominguez, Age 77, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2022.
Enrique, also known as Jimmy, Henry, Hank, Pancho, and Gordo, was born in Sonora, Arizona on September 29, 1945, to Armida Dominguez and Enrique A. Dominguez Jr.
Enrique graduated from Ray High School in 1965. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy, completing 2 tours in Vietnam as a U.S. Navy Seabee. He was trained in maintenance, construction, and combat. When he returned from the military, he was employed for 42 years with Kennecott and Asarco as a Haulage Truck Driver, retiring in 2010. He also was an EMT for Asarco and the Town of Kearny.
Enrique was a proud member of the In Country Vietnam Veterans, VFW, and American Legion. He also loved sports and was a loyal Dallas Cowboy and U of A fan.
Enrique is preceded in death by his mother Armida and father Enrique, and sister Nola. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Emmy (Salas) Dominguez, sister Molly, Aunt Monica, Aunt Jessie and the numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and cared for.
