Edward G. Saylor,82, was given to the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest. Edward was the son of the late Albert and Helen (Welty) Saylor. He was also the loving husband of Faye (Fehr) Saylor. In his lifetime, he worked with his wife in building the home of their dreams, raised their two daughters, and had the opportunity to spend many loving times with their granddaughters and great granddaughter. Edward was always a lineman for a power company. As a young man, he served with the United States Navy in Antarctica, as a US Navy Seabee, specializing in line work. Upon leaving the service, he worked with the men of Ralph Heist Electrical Contracting, Trexlertown, PA., doing commercial wiring. He obtained a position with Pennsylvania Power and Light Company of Allentown and left them employed as a Line Crew Leader after 20 years of service. Edward then took a position in the Borough of Perkasie, PA. and worked as a lineman in their Electrical Department, retiring after 20 years of service. Surviving in addition to his wife, Faye, are daughters Cynthia L. Thomas of Macungie, PA. and Tracey A. Clark of Flora, IN. Granddaughters Lauren, wife of Dustin Lytle of Wytheville, VA and Ellen, wife of William (Cory) Ellison of Kokomo, IN and great granddaughter Gwendolyn Faye. Edward was preceded in death by all of his siblings. In keeping with Edwards’ wishes no service will be held.
