Final Salute

Eduardo Ramon Gonzalez, 79, of El Paso, Texas, entered into eternal peace on April 12, 2026, in the presence of his loving family.

Eduardo dedicated his life to hard work, service, and family. He worked for 20 years at El Paso Electric Company and honorably served his country as a Navy Seabee for 6 years. He continued his commitment to service with 20 years in the United States Army Reserves. His strength, discipline, and unwavering dedication were evident in all aspects of his life.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Artemia Gonzalez; his daughters, Patricia Ramirez (Jose Ramirez), Yvonne Gonzalez (Rudy Gamez), and Jazmin Gonzalez (Jose Samano); his cherished grandchildren, Brittany Pillado, Darlene Rios, Val Pillado Jr. (Deanna Lomeli), Adrian Rios (Alondra Rios), Aiyanna Pillado (Johnny Moualem),

Athena Gonzalez, Caleb Gonzalez, Isaiah Gonzalez, Ares Gonzalez, Karmah Gonzalez, and Aletheia Gonzalez; and his great-grandchild, Arlo Pillado. His family will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Though Eduardo will be deeply missed, we find comfort in the love he gave us, the memories we shared & the lessons he leaves behind. His legacy will live on through every story we tell, laugh we share, & every moment we hold onto in his honor.

I love you, Honey. We love you, Pongo. Rest easy, Dad. You will always be with us.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, TX 79903. A Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:45 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2709 Alabama St., El Paso, TX 79930. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, West Shelter, 5200 Fred Wilson Blvd., at 1:00 PM.
