Donald E. Wolfram
was the eldest son of Robert and Reba Wolfram, born on October 1, 1947. He was raised in Terra Bella, where he attended Zion Lutheran School from 1st through 8th grade, later graduation from Porterville High School in 1965. After finshing high school, Donald decided to enlist in the U.S. Navy along with a few of his close friends. He served primarily in the Navy Seabee’s building and fighting in Phu Bai Vietnam, from, 1967 to 1973.
When Don’s military service came to an end, he settled down in Orange County, Califormia, to raise a family. Donald became a father of two beautiful daughters, Trisha and Kristin. He also joined the Santa Ana Police department, from which he retired in 2001. Despite his retirement, Don never slowed down; he was often found traveling and seeking new adventures, bringing his loving grandchildren along during the summers to create cherished memories. He made it a priority to regularly visit his parents and family in his hometown, always eager to seize every opportujity to connect with his loved ones. Making sure to grab some of his favorite sweet oranges before returing back home.
Saldy, Donald lost his battle with cancer on February 27, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Donna; his two daughters Trisha and Kristin; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, as well as his two brothers, Kenney and Vern, and his sister, Sheila. Donald will always be considered a hero to his family. He will be missed by many, leaving behind countless treasured memories.
