Final Salute

Donald C. Manning, 79, of Meadville, formerly of Conneautville passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center, surrounded by family. He was born February 9, 1943 to the late George and Virginia (Lindsey) Manning.
Don grew up in Conneautville and served honorably in the US Navy Seabees. Don was a man of many skills, but his primary occupation was as a long-haul truck driver. Don had an outgoing personality, and he loved his friends and family dearly and could always be counted on to offer an ear, advice or simply socializing.
Don is survived by his brothers: Ronald (Donna) and Joseph (Michele) and sisters: Ruth Carr and Deborah Manning (Robert). He is also survived by his nieces: Melissa, Susan, Ruth Ann, Jennifer, and Sarah; and nephews: Brian, Scott, Patrick, and Phillip; and numerous extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his sister: Patricia Austin, brother-in-law Art Austin, and nephew Art Austin Jr.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to a charity of choice in Don’s memory.
A service is being planned for at a later date in July 2022.
