ROY, Donald B. “Don” Of East Boston, formerly of Beachmont, suddenly on July 20th. Beloved husband of 54 years to Margaret (Koscielecki) Konikowski-Roy. Loving stepfather of Paul Konikowski and his wife Jennifer of Billerica. Cherished grandfather of Carly Konikowski and Phillip Konikowski; adored great-grandfather of Ava and Atlas Butcher, all of Billerica. Dear brother of the late Kenneth Roy of Beachmont. He is also survived by his longtime friend, Jason Brooks; and canine companion, “Smoky.” Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours on Tuesday, July 25th from 9 AM to 11 AM in the Welsh Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, CHELSEA. Immediately followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
