Final Salute

FAIRMONT — Dennis “Denny” A. DeNeui, age 72, of Fairmont, Minn., passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, during his hospitalization at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. A private service for family and close friends will take place in Fairmont.

Denny was born in June, 1950, in Mason City, Iowa. He graduated from Winnebago High School, married his high school sweetheart of 52 years, Kathleen Mayer, and proceeded to join the U.S. Navy serving our country as a Seabee and veteran. After returning from service and out of the military, Denny attended Jackson Vocational School and worked for the City of Fairmont, where they called home, as a power lineman/electrician until his retirement. During his free time, Denny enjoyed volunteering his time with the local legion post, outdoor activities of fishing, hunting, and camping with family and friends. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathy; daughter, Kelly and son in law, Roderick Johnson; granddaughters, Kaleigh and Ayva Johnson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Randy Mayer; close cousins, Bill Garvick, Dale and Janet Garvick; other close family and numerous friends.
