Final Salute

Daniel “MOOSE” Michels, age 69, died peacefully at home in Dillsburg on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
He was a 1973 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School where he played football. He served in the US Navy as a SeaBee and worked for 40 years at the New Cumberland Army Depot.
Moose is survived by his loving family: wife Lynn, daughter Hilary, son Ian and daughter-in-law Joanna, grandson Colin and granddaughter Chloe. Also surviving are his brothers David, Don and Johnny, his sisters Jacque, Debbie and Jill, and many nieces, nephews and friends including his lifelong buddies Mike and Joe.
Dan loved riding his motorcycle, drinking coffee and helping others.
