Final Salute

Mr. Clyde “Bo” Eugene Mizell, age 56, of Jacksonville, FL, passed on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center. He was born on February 17, 1965, in Jacksonville to Emma Louise (Hartsfield) and Thomas Raymond Mizell, Sr.

Bo was a Godly man who served as a “Seabee” in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver and loved riding his motorcycle with the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Bo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who loved the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma.

Bo is survived by his wife of six years, Pepper Mizell of Jacksonville, FL; father, Raymond (Lois) Mizell of St. George, GA; children, Heather (Kevin Jr. “Daniel”) Croker of Jacksonville, FL and Sabrina Prater of Jacksonville. FL; stepchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Cutsforth of St. Robert, MO, Crystal Bennett (Jordan Gehler) of West Allis, WI, Christina Bennett of Jacksonville, FL, and Samantha (Abel) Luna of Watertown, WI; sister, Judy (George) Denton of St. George, GA; brother, Thomas Raymond (Bridget) Mizell, Jr. of Macclenny, FL; 12 grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Kunnmann officiating. Interment with military honors followed at St. George Cemetery in St. George, Georgia.
