Clifford Garrison, age 82, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Born in Waterbury, CT, He was a son of the late Eugene and Gladys Garrison. He was baptized in the Nazarene Church in Waterbury, CT. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Watertown, CT and was president of youth fellowship there. Clifford lived in Nashua, NH for many years before moving to Myrtle Beach, SC. He attended Celebration Presbyterian Church in Carolina Forest, SC. He was a member of the American Legion Post 186 in Little River, SC. He was a Navy Seabee Veteran and served during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. He also served in Rota, Spain and Newfoundland. Clifford worked as a computer programmer for many years in the Insurance Industry. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Garrison, a brother, Fenton Garrison, his sister, Dorothy G. Parker and her husband, Ronald, his sister Ruth M. Turner, her husband, James I. Turner Sr., and their daughter Linda Turner, sister-in-law, Winifred Garrison, and cousin, Robert Post.
Survivors include his son, Brian Garrison, and his wife, Kelley of Somers, CT; grandson, Jason Garrison of Somers, CT; brother, Martin Garrison of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister-in-law Marjorie Garrison of Cape Cod, MA; cousin, Linda, and her son, Stephen of Myrtle Beach, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.
