Clem age 102 of Covington, Ky passed peacefully October 26, 2014 at Rosedale Green. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years Evelyn (Ebby) nee Robbins and eight siblings. Clem is survived by his sister Dorothy Nolan, his 5 children David of Cincinnati, Mark (Gail) of Park Hills, and Bernie (Pam) of Cincinnati, daughters Teri (Mike) Timmerman of Cincinnati, Susan Niles of Florence and 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He served 5 years in the armed forces, 4 in the First Construction Battalion (SeaBees) stationed in the South Pacific in WWII. From 1948 to 1968, Clem owned and ran K Market a neighborhood grocery store at 16th and Holman. He retired from the Post Office in 1974 in order to spend more time on his hobbies garage sales and horse racing. According to Clem, he never lost at the track. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service held from 1-4:00 November 16 at Baker-Hunt Arts and Cultural Center 620 Greenup Street in Covington. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful care-givers at Rosedale Green. Clem donated his body to the UC Medical Center for research.
