Mr. Brian Charles Peterson

Brian Charles Peterson of Taunton, Massachusetts passed away on June 8th, 2025, at the age of 72, after a long battle with ALS. He went peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
He is preceded by his parents Carl A. Peterson and Lorraine M. Peterson. Brian is survived by his wife Beverly S. (Bozeman) Peterson, son William C. Peterson, daughter Laura A. Peterson, sister Donna Marcotte, brother-in-law Roger Marcotte, sister Charlene (Peterson) White, brother Carl Peterson, sister-in-law Christine Peterson, sister Michelle Peterson Rolph, brother-in-law David Rolph, sister Kirsten (Peterson) Kogut and brother-in-law Don Kogut. Along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Brian’s greatest loves were his family and being outdoors, mostly fishing. He had a fishing show on local cable in Worcester Massachusetts area and was the outdoor expert at Sports Authority for several years. He fished tournaments and taught fishing to anyone that wanted to learn. Brian was very proud of his 11 years in the United States Navy as a Navy Seabee serving his beloved country. He grew up in the Catholic Church, served as an Alter Boy and taught CCD. He loved GOD, his family and his country. He was a good friend to many and a loving, caring, compassionate person and will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton from 9:45am-11:45am, with a Funeral Service held in the funeral home at 11:45am, followed by a burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
