Arthur “Skip” Maglio
June 1, 1939 – January 20, 2025
Arthur “Skip” Maglio, 85, of Bayville, NJ, and formerly of South Hackensack, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025.
Skip dedicated much of his career to the NYC Housing Authority as a proud member of the Carpenters Union. He also served his country honorably as a Navy Seabee Veteran. He was also a volunteer fireman for South Hackensack Company #2.
An avid outdoorsman, Skip had a passion for hunting and fishing, and he cherished the thrill of playing the lottery, always hopeful for the next big win. Above all, he was a man devoted to his family and friends, a love and loyalty that those close to him will always remember.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dolores Maglio, in 2006.
Skip is survived by his twin sister, June Eichler, of Las Vegas, NV; his children: Joseph Maglio (spouse Diane Maglio), Margaret Cioffi (spouse Robert Cioffi Sr.), Arthur Maglio Jr. (spouse Rosa-Anna Maglio), Ralph Ramirez-Maglio (spouse Lester Ramirez-Maglio), and Marie Maglio (partner Michael Buron); his nine grandchildren: Anne Lobosco, Robert Cioffi Jr., Margaret Hassel, Darren Maglio, Anthony Cioffi, Marc Maglio, Chynna Maglio, Joseph Cioffi, and Madison Ramirez-Maglio; and five great-grandchildren: Robert Brady Cioffi, Adeline Maglio, Nolan Hassel, Colton Maglio, and Lucas Lobasco.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721.
Funeral and entombment services will be on Monday January 27th at 11:30am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to (DAV.org) (Disabled American Veterans) or Tunnels to Towers Foundation in Skip’s honor (T2T.org)
