Anthony Micheal Dean Pierce “Mike” age 35, of Redwater, TX, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in a Dallas Hospital. He was born on September 19, 1988, in Texarkana, TX.
Mr. Pierce spent his working days as an Electrician. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, coaching, being a Dallas Cowboys fan, making others laugh, and spending time with his family. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served honorably in Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion seven and eleven and USS The Sullivans DDG 68.
His family described him as God-fearing, funny, loving, hard-working, generous, talented, and witty. He was always willing to help others, and he was constantly filling others’ lives with laughter and joy. Micheal was a brave fighter!
He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, sailor/seabee, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his son Daxton Mac Pierce and grandfather Curtis Moore.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 14 years, Kali Pierce, two wonderful and talented sons, Ayden and Kayn Pierce, mother and father Michelle and Tony Pierce, brother Aaron Pierce, grandparents Adean and Shirley Pierce, and Jeri Moore, mother and father in laws’ Charles and Virginia Missildine and Kenneth and Janice McMellon, Special Friend Janice Dixon and Jared Hopper, 14 nieces and nephews, and several other relatives and countless friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Redwater First Baptist Church, in Redwater, TX with Corey Calicott officiating. Military Funeral Honors will be held directly after service at Redwater High School football field, with a Celebration of Life after at the family’s home.
A visitation will be held at Chapelwood Funeral Home in Nash, TX on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
