Final Salute

Anthony G. Martino (Jerry), 92, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2023. Tony was born in Minneapolis on November 29, 1931, the son of Anthony D. and Mary B. Martino. Tony is preceded in death by his parents and cousin, Joan Nelson. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Martino; children Thomas (Colleen) Martino, Karen (Brad) Paulson and Michael Martino; five grandchildren, Marisa (Zach) Paulson, Cameron Paulson, Justin Paulson, Kailyn Paulson, Nick (Lauren) Martino, and great grandson, Bentley Martino; brother William (Carole) Martino and sister, Mary (Albert) Turenne and many nieces and nephews.
Tony proudly served in the US Navy, Seabees unit. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Civil Engineering and worked for Cargill for 25 years in the Corporate Safety Department.
Join us for a funeral mass on Thursday, Dec. 21, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Mtka Blvd., Deephaven. Visitation at 9:30am and mass at 11:00am. Memorials preferred to St. Therese Catholic Church, St. Therese Catholic School, or Sharing and Caring Hands.
