Final Salute

Alfred Lee Kelly, 76 of Woodville, passed away, Saturday, July 3rd at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville, Texas.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 6th at 11:00am at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville. Officiating will be Brother David L. Clark of Faith Tabernacle in Hillister, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 5th from 5:00 – 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Alfred was born August 16, 1933 to Charlie & Beulah Suiter Kelly in Clarksville, TN. He had worked for Steinhagen Oil and Keller Industries and was a retired U.S. Navy Korean & Vietnam veteran.

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles A. Kelly and brothers, Charles, Herman, Denny and Lawrence Kelly.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Bonnie Kelly of Woodville; son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Kalinda Kelly of Alvin; daughter & son-in-law, Cynthia & Dale Voyles of Evadale; stepson, Steve Menard & wife, Claudette of Orange; brother & sister-in-law, Wayne & Sue Kelly of St. Louis, Missouri; sister & brother-in-law, Ann & Dalton Claxton of Clarksville, Tennessee; and 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral & cremation services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
