Paul Thomas Reynolds Mr. Reynolds passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2022, surrounded by immediate family. He was 94-1/2 years old. In addition to being President of his own firm—Engineering Construction Management Inc. (ECM)—Mr. Reynolds served as Chief Structural Engineer and Construction Manager for Keith and Associates, working on numerous winery design projects. He also worked for Zurn Engineers in Los Altos, Bechtel Corporation in San Francisco, Backen & Backen Architecture in St. Helena and was Vice President of Associated Construction and Engineering Company (San Francisco).

Following graduation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1949, Mr. Reynolds served in the Army and was subsequently a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. His experience in the Navy Civil Engineers Corps included 4 years as Resident Officer in Charge of Construction for major military facilities in the Caribbean the South Pacific.

As Senior Engineer for Bechtel, Mr. Reynolds served as a Group Design Supervisor for the BART System. For many years he took charge of structural engineering services for commercial, industrial, residential, hospital and educational facilities in the New England area.

Mr. Reynolds loved Ireland and made numerous pilgrimages there where he had many relatives. He was a charter member of the United Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco.

He is preceded in death by parents Michael J. Reynolds and Margaret E. N., siblings Anne M R. Henry and John F. Reynolds and niece Robin L. Gandara. He is survived by four nieces, one cousin and two nephews as well as family in Ireland.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at St. Eugene Cathedral, 2323 Montgomery Dr. in Santa Rosa for Paul Thomas Reynolds, retired Civil and Structural Engineer, who had an extensive background in Design, Engineering and Construction Management. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 7pm on Tuesday, August 23rd at Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Ave.
