Paul Donado Obituary

LCDR Paul Donado, USN (Ret.), 76, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Joy Ann Donado entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 5, 2018.

His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:30 p.m. Interment with full military honors will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.

Paul was born January 30, 1942 in Port Chester, New York, son of the late Rowland J. Donado and Jean Curtis Donado.

He retired from the U.S. Navy as a Lt. Commander with the Civil Engineer Corps after 30 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran and also retired from the City of North Charleston Public Works as an engineer after 15 years of service.

Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed family activities, working on cars and woodworking. He was a great family provider.

He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Joy Ann Donado of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Judy L. Babboni (Steven) of Summerville, SC; daughter, Joanne G. Lyell of North Charleston, SC; son, William R Fox (Sherry) of Roanoke, VA; daughter, Nancy L Healy of Summerville, SC; son, Dusty Donado of Summerville, SC; sister, Jill A. Marshall of Jupiter, FL; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
