Frank Mollura passed away recently, at nearly 96 years old. He was a 1949 graduate of NY State Maritime Academy and was active with alumni. He served in WWII. After 32 years of service, he retired as a Lt Commander of the US Navy Seabees. He also retired after 30 years from the US Air Force, Rome Air Development Center, Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome, NY. He is survived by his children; Lorraine (Lee), Francine, Gary, and Michael (Erin). Also surviving are six grandchildren; David, Derrick, Stephanie, Andrew, Deidre, and Ryan; many great-grandchildren; two nieces, Karen (John) and Sandra; and many great-nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his perseverance, determination, generosity, and his utter devotion to his family. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
