Final Salute

Danny Leroy Lawrence, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2024, in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born on March 2, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he first began his journey in life that would take him to remarkable heights.

Danny proudly served his country as a retired Seabee, achieving the rank of Master Chief E9. His military service was marked by dedication, strength, and leadership that left an indelible impact on those around him. Danny’s comrades and friends in the Navy will remember him not only for his unwavering commitment but also for his warm spirit and camaraderie.

He is survived by his cherished sons, Danny Mitchell Lawrence and David Francisco Lawrence, along with his beloved daughter, Christy Warden. The legacy of love he leaves behind extends to his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who were the joy of his life and whom he adored deeply.

Danny was preceded in death by his devoted spouse, Christina Martin Lawrence, with whom he shared many beautiful years and treasured memories. Their bond remains a testament to true love and companionship.

Danny LeRoy Lawrence will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the countless lives he touched throughout his life. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will carry his memory forward with great affection and respect.
