Paul Clifford Story, Sr., 81, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Alvia and Hassie (Sizemore) Story. He was married 51 years to his beloved wife Sara A. (Zartman) Story.
Paul was a 1963 graduate of JP McCaskey High School. He worked for 33 years with PP&L as a crane operator and retired in 2000. Paul was also a proud veteran of the US Navy from 1964-1966 serving in Vietnam with a Navy Seabee construction battalion. In his retirement he enjoyed being outdoors gardening, walking, camping, and riding rail trails. He also participated in boxing and tai-chi to stay active and enjoyed watching baseball. Paul was a longtime member of Brickerville United Lutheran Church.
In addition to his wife Sara, Paul is survived by his son, Paul C. Story, Jr., sister Patricia A. Martin, brother Blaine E. Story, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 half siblings: Jeanetta Chambers and Richard V. Ross.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Brickerville United Lutheran Church, 340 E 28th Division Hwy, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.
