Final Salute

Jerry Lee Hufstedler, 74, of Sulphur, LA passed away on July 16, 2021, in Tallahassee, FL in a local hospital.

Jerry was born on September 8, 1946, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Amos and Clara Hufstedler. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to races. He loved tinkering on cars and trucks. He worked for many years as a boiler maker in the petrochemical industry. Jerry also like listening to Elvis and watching John Wayne movies.

Those left to cherish his memory, one son, John Hufstedler and wife Melissa; brothers, Pete and Wayne Hufstedler; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sonja; parents; daughter, Tina Enis; and sister, Shirley Wactor.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of services at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery.
