Final Salute

Dale Harr (born 7/20/1947 died 9/20/2022) Dale is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nola, and sister, Laura Richards. Children: Thomas, Tami, Michele, Michael. 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was loved by his mom & dad who preceded him in death. Dale was a wonderful husband and partner in all we’ve experienced. He served 4 years in the Army, 2 years in the Navy as a SeaBee. He loved being a SeaBee where he could “play “with big earth moving equipment, transporting cargo and enjoying the companionship of his mates. He toured the world while in our country’s service. A couple of years after arriving home, he married Nola. They had a wonderful life together, working on the family cabin, repairing the roof, fixing fences, etc. They also traveled a lot and visited many places in this country. Dale was loved by his wife and family. They will miss him a lot. A gathering will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W Thunderbird Rd., Peoria AZ. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. In place of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association of Az.
