Richard Lee Gregory, 77, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Richard retired from the Navy as a Navy Seabee, Petty Officer 1st Class and served in the Vietnam War. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, blacksmithing, leatherworking, and storytelling.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenza and Doris Lee Gregory and his sister-in-law, Patricia Rushing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Deborah Gregory; his son, Richard Lorenza Gregory (Haley Geddi); his daughters, Amanda Gregory Johnston (Carl) and Carol Lee Gregory; his grandson, Theodore Gregory; and his brothers, Barry Wayne Gregory and Steve Gregory.

A visitation for Richard will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Leak Memory Chapel 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.
