Jerry W. Bulock, of Manton, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at his home with family by his side. He was 83.

Jerry was born on June 7, 1941 to Almond “Rex” and Inez “Louise” (Maddox) Bulock in Cadillac, Michigan. He answered the call of duty serving in the United States Navy. Jerry spent over 30 years working as a Seabees for the United States Naval Construction Battalions, as apart of the construction unit, building infrastructure and supporting disaster recovery. During his time in the service, he received several sharp-shooting awards. Jerry dedicated his career working for Wexford County, working for the road commission until his time of retirement, and also serving as the county commissioner. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed going hunting and fishing. In his spare time, he could often be found tinkering around with a project or attempting to build something. He cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his loving daughter, Jerri Anne Hagstrom; grandchildren, Matthew Hagstrom of Mesick, Heather Sepke of Mesick, Christoper (Nicole) Hagstrom of Manton, and Jonny (Shana) Hagstrom of Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Jakob Kuhn, Caleb Kuhn, Luke Sepke, Andie Hagstrom, Kenzie Hagstrom, and Reid Hagstrom, with another to be expected; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Almond Rex and Inez Louise Bulock; a son, Tyrus “Ty” Bulock; son-in-law, Adam Hagstrom; and his longtime partner and ex-wife, Judith Bulock.
