Final Salute

Dale Clayton Martin, age 83, of Circleville, passed away August 1, 2021 at Grant Medical Center. He was born October 2, 1937 to the late Clayton C. and Edith Elva (Elkins) Martin. Dale retired from the City of Columbus, street maintenance; he was a Viet Nam veteran serving as a Seabee in The U.S. Navy. He was with the Seabee’s from 1954-1978 serving with MCB 20, 22, and 133. He was a member of the Navy Seabee’s of America, Island 2 Columbus, Ohio, and a lifetime member of The Sprockets Motorcycle Club. He was preceded in death by his son Dale C. Martin II. Survivors include his wife, Robin Martin; his sons; grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy (Ken) Vrshek. Private family services will be observed.
