Floyd H. Furget Obituary
Floyd Henry Furget, 77, a resident of Round Lake Heights, IL, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his home.
He was born October 28, 1940 in Detroit, MI to Floyd H. and Artie M. (nee: Thaxton) Furget.
Floyd was retired from the Navy after serving 20 years.
Floyd is survived by his wife Karen, whom he wed on April 27, 1962 in Detroit, MI, his children Sandra (John) Harmon of Live Oak, FL, Suzanne Jansen of Round Lake Park, and Gerald (Amy) Furget of Fort Worth, TX, his 9 grandchildren and his 8 great-grandchildren, Olivia Kirk, Lilly Lankford, Aaron Jansen, Gabe Lankford, Leo Lankford, Jake Furget, Jaxson Kirk, and Gracie Kirk.
A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with the funeral service commencing 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
