Miller, Duffy Guy Age 71 of Lilydale, MN, died on July 2nd, as the sun was setting over the Mississippi River. Finally relieving him from constant pain following years of multiple cancers. Born February 18, 1950 in St. Paul, MN. Duffy proudly served 24 years in the US Navy, Naval Construction Forces/Seabees. Retiring with the rank of Master Chief . He worked for the Target Corp. for the next 13 years as OSR. The high point of his career was being part of the Target team that built the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix. Duffy was smart, stubborn, funny, loud, clever, an artist and cartoonist, political junky, a collector of things great and small, tinkerer, athletic, lover of hockey, coffee and hoppy beer drinker, master of cribbage, mahjongg, and crossword puzzles. All will miss his wicked wit and mischievous spontaneity. Preceded in death by his parents, Caroline and Marty, brothers Daniel, Glenn and George. Survived by wife, Virginia, son Thorpe (Karisa), daughters Kristen Pine (Chris) and Jennifer Bonham, all of VA. Brother Ted Miller (Lisa) of Stillwater, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. A small gathering was held for close family and friends.
