Mark Roger Mosch, age 56, of Elkton, passed away 10:45 PM, Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Tuesday May 11, 2021 at noon at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Kent Akin officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Fort Campbell Blvd Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon at the funeral home. He was born July 27, 1964 in Buffalo, Minnesota. He is retired from the U.S. Navy where he was a Chief Petty Officer, trained as a Certified Welder/Instructor. He was a Gulf War veteran and held a Bachelors Degree in Science and Business. While in the Navy he was trained and served in the following fields, 1984 Builders Carpentry/Masonary A School (Seabees), 1984-1989 Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One, 1991 Hull Maintenance Technician A. School, 1991-95 USS Frank Cable, 1995 Instructors Training School, 1995 Recruit Instructors Course, 1995-98 Company Commander at Great Lakes, IL, 1998-2000 USS Supply and 2001-2006 Naval Submarine School. He was a member of O’Roark United Methodist Church in Logan County, KY. He is preceded in death by his brother Jason Mosch.
He is survived by his parents, Roger Mosch of Elkton, Linda Mosch Futrell of Hopkinsville, KY; his wife, Sue Suddeath Mosch of Elkton, KY; his son Zach Mark Mosch of Groton, Connecticut, his step-son, Derek Wells of Elkton, KY, his brothers, Brian Mosch of Hopinsville, KY, and Scott Mosch of Corpus Christi, Texas; and two grandchildren.
