Final Salute

Jerseyville – Christopher Stephen Likes, 72, of Jerseyville, IL, died unexpectedly on August 31, 2025.
He was born December 11, 1952, in Belleville, the son of the late Leo and Doris (Kulhman) Likes. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kelly Kulhman Likes. Survivors include his brother, Scott Kevin Likes; his son, Joel (Morgan) Cheatham; and grandchildren, Reagan and Kellan Cheatham.
Mr. Likes served three years in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee, held a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and retired as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed gun collecting and amateur gunsmithing.
Cremation rites were accorded. No services will be held. Kravanya Funeral Home in charge.
