David Martin Leon, age 59, of Arlington, TX, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his home in Arlington. David was born on December 20, 1965, in Phoenix, AZ to his parents, Noel E. and Barbara J. Leon. David, a 1984 graduate of Duncanville High School, went on to enlist in the United States Navy as a Seabee in the Construction Battalion. He was a Decorated Veteran, serving in Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served many tours around the world, including Okinawa, Guam, Crete and Sicily. He proudly served our country for 20 years before retiring in 2008. He retired from HOLT CAT in 2020. David was currently working at Sunbelt Rentals.
David was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was so loved and will be missed by many. David was predeceased by his beloved Doberman, Angel; father, Noel Leon; niece, Amber Johnston; grandparents, Abe Leon and Jewel Herro; Lloyd and Elva Elliott of Keyesport, IL. David is survived by his mother, Barbara Leon of Keyesport, IL; two sisters, Michelle Leon and Dawn Crow (Glenn); a brother, Kevin Leon; four nieces, Jennie Chase-Reeves, Chelsey Hilliard, Tiffany Cohee (Josh) and Faith Crow; three nephews, Jeremy Crow, Cameron Leon and Carter Leon; and seven great-nieces.
