A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of William Michael “Mike” Irvin, 77, of Monroe, LA will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. at his residence 331 Ragland Rd. Monroe, LA.
Mike died at his residence on October 27, 2023, after a lengthy illness from results of the War and the use of Agent Orange.
Mike was a graduate of Neville High School, attended LSU in Pre-Veterinarian Medicine and later at ULM in building construction. Mike served in the United States Navy in the Seabee’s in the Vietnam War. Mike worked as an electrician and I & E inspector all over the United States. He loved spending time outdoors with his family, deer and turkey hunting and fishing. He enjoyed many days at Davis Island Kellogg Club with his family.
Survivors: wife of 45 years, Mrs. Frances W. Irvin; sons, William Martin Irvin, Michael Justin Irvin, William Michael Irvin II and his wife, Jamie, Matt Boone and his wife, Jessie, and Jason Boone and wife Anna; and grandchildren, Cameron and Kaleb Irvin, Ozzy and Jaxon Irvin, Hunter and Drake Irvin, Ian and Julie Boone and Katie Brooks.
