Danny Lee Zeller passed away peacefully at home in Peel AR, on February 1, 2022, at the age 75. Danny was born March 19, 1946, in Harrisonville, MO, to David and Thelda ‘Teddy’ Deshazer Zeller.
Danny carried a kind-hearted adventurous soul. He loved traveling and socializing with friends and family. He was an avid hobbyist who enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and golfing. One of Danny’s favorite pastimes was fishing which he still had not mastered but gave his all. All his money and all his time.
Danny served his country in the U.S. Navy (Seabee) as a Construction Electrician’s Mate (wiring) Petty Officer 3rd Class in the U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Ten from 1965-1968. He did an active tour in Vietnam receiving many medals for his service with an honorable discharge.
After serving in the U.S. Navy, Danny became a Union electrician traveling across the United States. He later transitioned to working with his father and mother in construction, building homes in Harrisonville, MO.
Danny will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure to know him.
He is survived by his sons, Clinton Zeller of Peel, AR, and David (Karen) Zeller of Parkridge, IL; and daughter, Cherise (Gabriel) Rojas of Kansas City, MO; sisters, Shirley (Dale) Phillips of Montrose, MO and Betty Jo McClurg of Leavenworth, KS and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
