Neal W. Bold Obituary

Neal W. Bold, 79, of Emmaus, died Monday, July 2, 2018 in St. Luke’s Allentown under hospice care.

He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Costello) Bold for the last 44 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Whitehouse) Bold. He was a 1956 graduate of Allentown High School.

He honorably served his country in the US Marine Corp. and the US Navy Reserve in the Seabee’s, earning the rank of E-6 (Petty Officer 1st Class). Neal retired in 2004 as a master electrician at Pet/Pillsbury. Previously he was a supervisor for Blue Ridge Textiles in Bangor.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; Daughter, Angie of Allentown; Grandchildren, Justin and Cheyenne; Great Granddaughter, Chloe; Sister, Bonnie wife of Jay Hetherington of Texas.

He was predeceased by a brother, Earl Bold.

In keeping with Neal’s wishes, there will be no services.
Schantz Funeral Home, P.C. is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Last Chance Ranch of Quakertown and The Cat Shack of Trexlertown.
