U.S. Navy Seabee Veteran, Driver 3rd Class
At 90, he passed away in Lakewood, Colorado in a home that he built 50 years ago. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Kannenberg and Anne (Skadow) Kannenberg; his brother, Louis “Bud” Kannenberg; his sister, Dorothy Luthardt; and his son, Scott Kannenberg. He is survived by his loving family: his wife of 65 years, Nancy (Miller) Kannenberg; his son, Rand Kannenberg; his daughter, Kelly Kannenberg; and his five grandchildren: Corinne, Leslie, James, Joshua, and Kailee.
A military ceremonial service at Fort Logan Cemetery will be for immediate family only due to COVID restrictions.
