Final Salute

ANDERSON, Robert E. 89, died June 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He came to Clearwater from Chicago in 1960 after serving as a Navy Seabee in the Aleutians and Philippines in early fifties. He enjoyed playing and watching sports of all kinds. Playing 3-Score Softball was a highlight of his life and was given lifetime membership award in 2009. Owner of Thunder Construction, he was a man of great integrity, admired and respected by all and put people at ease with his humor. He had a lifetime of travel and adventures and was a great storyteller. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Susan Fields (Steve); stepsons, Mark and Paul (Andrea), two grandchildren and a great-grand child. Preceded in death by daughter, Sandra; son, James; brothers, Don (Dolores) and Rick (Kim). A family gathering will be held at a later date.
