Final Salute

Gerald L. Lueck, age 79 of Pardeeville passed away Saturday February 1, 2025 at Columbia Health Care Center (CHCC). He was born January 15, 1946 in Beaver Dam, WI, son of Reinhold and Mae Lueck.

He married Laureen A. Voss June 28, 1969 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pardeeville, WI. Gerald attended Pardeeville High School. He enlisted in the Navy (The Seabees) serving his country in Vietnam from 1967-1968. Gerald worked for the Columbia County Highway Department for 40+ years. He enjoyed being the backhoe operator with his crew, installing culverts, digging ditches, etc. He was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church & School. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

He is survived by his wife Laureen, daughter Steffanie (Andrew) Villarreal, and son Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents Reinhold and Mae Lueck and his sister and brother-in-law Ann and William Thurston.

A memorial service will be held Friday February 28, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor James Plocher officiating. A visitation to be held from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service on Friday. Interment will be at the Marcellon Cemetery.

The family requests no flowers or plants. Memorials may be sent to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church and School, Wyocena Community Helping Hands Pantry or CHCC Foundation.

The Family would like to thank everyone at Willow Court for their special care of Jerry and to Pastor Plocher for all the time spent with the family. Jerry was well liked by those he came in contact with.
