Synergy Modular is a construction company that builds modular multi family units throughout the Pacific Northwest, West, and Southwest U.S. They range from ~$5mil to $50mil. Synergy Modular has offices in Woodinville, WA, Scottsdale, AZ, and Austin, TX and we are looking for Project Engineers and Project Managers for all locations.

Position Descriptions are as follows:

Project Engineer
The Project Engineer (PE) position is responsible for the flow and update of critical project documentation
in support of the Project Manager (PM). The position requires knowledge of construction process and
information management, the ability to think ahead and schedule their work in the correct sequence with
the project. The PE communicates daily with a variety of project team members, both internal and
external, therefore the position must possess the ability to clearly communicate information
appropriately and in a timely manner.

Principal Accountabilities
• Produce and/or manage all project control documentation such as logs, quantity surveys, changes
(sub and Synergy), submittals, as-builts, etc. • Own the communication of status of project control documentation and items related to project
progress to all appropriate parties, both internal and external. • Create, manage and drive the critical processes of project communication and logs such as OAC
meeting minutes, RFIs, ASIs, Sub/Owner Change Orders, permits, Budget Amendments, etc. • Participate in Project Status Reviews/Forecasts as designated by the Project Manager (PM). • Manage communication with, collection of and transmittal of Subcontract required information and
documentation, in a timely fashion, including but not limited to Safety Plans, Change Orders and O&M
information. • Provide timely and appropriate assistance to PM and Superintendent around deliveries, buyout,
purchase order creation, rental equipment, bidding/buyout and any project specific requirements. • Develop scopes of work in partnership with the PM, for subcontracts and manage drawing distribution
process in a timely manner. • Collect, disseminate and track information associated with project status reviews, monthly billings,
forecasts in support of the PM. • Set up and maintain project filing system and Procore records in a timely fashion. • Manage all Quality Control activities for the project including, but not limited to, punch list,
subcontractor sign in, safety meeting minutes, and subcontractor meeting minutes.
• Create, gather or maintain all Site-Specific Safety Plans for both Synergy and their subcontractors.
• Create, manage and submit all required daily, weekly or monthly reports associated with own work in
a timely manner.
• Know and use the appropriate procedures for accomplishing accountabilities.
Experience/Skills/Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or other appropriate discipline from an
accredited university. Commensurate experience will be considered.
• Highly skilled with use of the Microsoft Office Suite of tools.

Project Manager
The position of Project Manager requires a high level of organization, knowledge of construction and
building practices as well as the ability to form strong working relationships with trades, the Client/Owner
and all Synergy management levels down to the foreman. This position is responsible for the financial,
schedule and quality health of projects, as well as maintaining contractual compliance. A Project Manager
may be responsible for one or multiple projects.

Functional Contacts: Accounting, Contract Administration, Office Manager, HR
Reported to by: Project Engineer, Superintendent (as assigned)
Principal Accountabilities
• Create and maintain strong financial health of projects.
• Participate in activities associated with acquisition of projects.
• Develop and maintain logs appropriate to the project and contract type.
• Develop habitual practice among all team members in keeping project records up to date.
• Create and maintain strong working relationships with all members of the project team.
• Minimize project risk for both Synergy and clients.
• Develop and mentor all company team members and direct reports (if assigned).
• Know, understand, communicate and ensure compliance with company policies and processes.
• Ensure all project disbursements are in accordance with contract or purchase order terms.
• Clear and consistent communication of project status and information to assigned Superintendent.
Experience/Skills/Education
• 10-15 years increasing experience in construction project management on a variety of projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Engineering or similar from an
accredited university. Commensurate experience will be considered.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Blue Beam, MS Project required.
• Proficiency in MS Project or P6, Procore (or other PM software) desired.

• Previous experience with hands-on construction work a plus.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software and theory desired.
• Demonstrated increasing experience with, and ability to, stay organized across all project activities.
